Spier Consumer Capital ("SCC") was founded in 2008 by Tom Spier. Tom started his career in finance in 2000 as an analyst for JP Morgan. In 2004, Tom began to sharpen his operating skills as the COO of Bear Naked Granola. Between 2004 and 2007, Bear Naked grew to become the largest granola company in the country. Tom Spier was an integral part of the growth and successfully prepared the company for its sale to Kellogg's (NYSE: K). Tom Spier now lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife Stephanie and his son Owen. Tom graduated Magna cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with dual degrees in Economics and Spanish.
Currently, Tom Spier is the CFO and sits on the board of Phil's Fresh Foods (EVOL burritos).
